Digital Learning Activities
In Fall 2024, students in this course had the opportunity to create a digital learning activity that explores the historical roots of a current issue in higher education, focusing on topics beyond South Texas. Students were encouraged to think creatively and engage with primary sources, guiding their classmates in understanding how these historical contexts influence contemporary issues. While the activity was designed to help students reflect on how examining the past can shape our present and future understanding of higher education, the focus was on using engaging, interactive methods to bring these historical connections to life. Each project was built using Google Sites and aimed to provide a thoughtful, accessible learning experience for all participants.
