Large gifts pace A&I-CC fund drive, Tuesday, July 4, 1972 An article about how most of the donations made to the A&I-CC fund drive have been donated in contributions of $5,000 to $150,000. The fund has raised $1,367,368 of the $1,750,000 goal and their have been contributions that ranged from $1 to $150,000. John Crutchfield the campaign chairman mentioned that they are confident they will receive many more contributions, both small and large, and will be impactful as the drive is for the future success of the University.

UCC Library Fulfills Dream, Saturday, May 11, 1963 An article about the dedication of the UCC library with the Library Donors, Mr. and Mrs. H.E. Butt. About 500 students, faculty members, and friends of the college were in attendance for the brief dedication, and the building was dedicated to the "Glory of God". The dedication included brief speeches, a program of readings, music, and a dedicatory prayer by Howard Butt Jr.

Islander Field will be a three-story sports facility that will house public bathrooms, a concession stand on the first floor, a press box, and an upper-level suite. Port of Corpus Christi donation to TAMU-CC, June 30, 2023 An article about the Port of Corpus Christi's $50,000 gift to TAMUCC in the Summer of 2023 to support programs offered by the Conrad Blucher Institute for Surveying and Sciences. The goal of the funds is to offer summer camps available to middle school students, STEM workshops for educators, and to help put together a curriculum for the CTE pathway.

New Scholarship for TAMU-CC Nursing Program, October 24, 2022 An article about the $50,000 donation from Corpus Christi Medical Center to the University's undergraduate Nursing Program. The funds will support a new endowed scholarship for full-time undergraduate students enrolled in the nursing program. Fall 2008 Community Support News An article talking about community support to the University in Fall 2008 with various contributions made, including $5 million from the estate of Lawrence Atkins, a visiting artists endowment provided by the Cotillion Club in more than $60,000, Greater Texas Foundation's endowment established with various grants and amounts: $20,000, $80,000 and totaling the endowment to $200,000. AEP gifted the University $25,000 to support the institution's greatest need and awarding of arts scholarships and community outreach donation funds scholarships.

Financial Information 1967-1968 Taken from the 1967-1968 course catalog, these pages represent the cost to the student at UCC during this academic year. Interestingly, all tuition and fees were due at the time of registration, and limited payment plans were available through the school. However, students were able to utilize a "commercial company" which would pay their tuition in full, and the students would then pay this company monthly. Additionally, only cash was accepted at the bookstore unless student's made prior arrangements with this commercial finance company. Refunds were also issued only to academically successful students. Scholarships were only offered to the "highest ranking girl" and "highest ranking boy."

Special Tuition Rates for Concurrently Enrolled Students Overview 1997-1998 Students enrolled at 2 or more institutions may receive special tuition rates. Now, TAMUCC has since gone away with this, and can now award additional financial aid to students through a consortium agreement - if eligible.

Veterans Assistance 1986-1988 This image highlights veterans assistance through the GI Bill. Enacted in 1944 and signed by President Franklin Roosevelt, the GI Bill provided WWII veterans with funds for college education. Now, we still see the GI Bill being used today including Hazelwood benefits and Chapter 34.
