Campus Newspaper Reporting on CCSU's Transition into A 4-year University from 1986 -1989 - Lorena Newsome
This collection is the result of a history harvest project for EDLD 6306: Higher Education in A Democratic Society. This collection includes photos taken by me of articles, student surveys and polls, and letters to the editor from the University News between 1986-1989, when TAMUCC was still CCSU. Each of the items collected from this news resource is related to conversations surrounding CCSU becoming a four-year university, and they highlight student perspectives, as well as campus stakeholders, politicians and local officials involved in advocating for higher education expansion in the region.
